Acrylic

Laser-cut lettering with polished edges. Choose clear, solid colours, opal or decorative finishes. Available thicknesses depend on the colour.

Aluminium composite

A slim 3mm profile with 0.30mm aluminium skins and a plastic core. Choose coloured faces or selected brushed and metallic finishes.

Foam PVC

Lightweight lettering in white (3, 5, 10, 13, 19 or 25mm) or black (5, 10 or 19mm). Router-cut edges suit larger, bolder lettering; acrylic gives finer detail on small letters.

Choose how your letters sit

Fixings & positioning templates

Plastic locators + template

A hidden clip fixing gives the lettering a stand-off from the surface. A paper template positions the locators. Strokes need at least 10mm width; 15mm is preferable to conceal the fixing.

VHB tape + template

For a close-fitting application to a suitable surface. A vinyl template suits smaller lettering; cardboard templates help with larger sets. Tape generally needs a stroke of at least 4mm.

Cladding & special surfaces

Send a photograph and the cladding profile measurements. Locator positions must align with the raised sections; we prepare the layout for the actual wall.

Choose the thickness to suit the letter size, design and fixing method. Suitable for indoor or outdoor projects when correctly specified.

Details that make the difference

Designing letters that cut cleanly

Acrylic detail

Allow at least 4mm for a continuous stroke. Larger letters may need a small internal corner radius to reduce stress.

Composite detail

Allow at least 5mm strokes and 3.2mm gaps. Internal corners have a small router radius.

Foam PVC detail

Allow at least 5mm strokes and 4mm gaps. For lettering under 100mm high, acrylic usually gives a cleaner result.

Installation is carried out by TOM’s Building, a separate company. Signmasta supplies your signage but does not carry out installation.
